Hey guys and girls I was just wondering if I could run or fit the stock chain with after-market 15-42 530 sprockets. New bike New Chain 1600 easy miles. Trying to get a little life out of the stock chain and save a little money. Thanks Gaylen

Only a 530 chain will fit snug on 530 sprockets.

ya 530 chain with 530 sprocket will be best cuz u dont want any loseness or slop when the chain is on the sprokets. that would be bad

Your stock chain will fit but you'll push your rear tire to close to the swingarm. If you want to use your stock chain then you need to go with a 16/42 setup and not 15/42. You can also use your stock chain with a 15/41 setup if you want.

I think you have it backwards. 16/42 will bring the tire closer than a 15/42....
