John John, I believe it would be a percentage off, as in 10% fast. So, for example, if your speedo reads 60, your GPS would say 54, and so on. I noticed that with mine bfore I put the speedo healer on it. Good luck. BTW, how did you mount your GPS unit? CBXJOHN 07-09-2008, 05:25 PM I have a Garmin Nuvi 200 with a car windshield mount. I just suction cupped it to the far left/top of my windscreen. As for power, I use a battery tender connector attached to the cigarette lighter socket which I place in my trunk and connect to the battery tender pigtail on my bike. I have battery tenders on all my bikes, so it's easy to transfer from bike to bike. The bikes I have that don't have windshields, ('89 Hawk GT, '86 XL 600R) I just stick the suction cup over the tachometer lens, done deal! I've seen mags that carry videocamera mount units that suction to the tank, but I don't know if I'd trust my Nuvi's life to a tank mount. | ||
