Did the previous owner put the stock pipes back on?
The ones in the photos don't look stock.

As for your mates CBR, the problem with almost every bike being an I-4 is that they all sound the same (excepting the new R1).

So that's where the SP1 & SP2 differ. Especially with a nice set of pipes.
You definitely know what it isn't!

yea he put stock cans back on
and ripped out power commander
can see the remnants of velcro in the rear
says honda on the exhausts so yea i'd say there stock

Save your pennies and grab a set of Sato slip-ons and Power Commander.
If you got noticed now, you'll definitely get noticed later!
Those Sato's rattle the windows. Nice deep rumble.
