I agree. The choices are very limited and the LEDs generally suck.
That was one reason I was originally going to give OPP's carbon-fiber undertail a try.
Their LEDs seemed to be much brighter (although I haven't seen one personally).
I was all set to purchase one and the wait time was at least 3 months!!!
I had initially bought a Bestem figerglass undertail and the quality and finish were atrocious. I eventually threw in the trash. It wasn't worth reselling.
So I bit the bullet and bought a Hotbodies.
Their installation instructions suck on how to trim the rear fender, so I fashioned my own method which is far, far better.
Anyone else willing to step up to the plate and design a super nice undertail with mega-bright integrated brake/signal/license plate LEDs in ABS or FRP might just get my business.

the mototek/dassault is abs. there is a bit of fitment issues but not too bad. the lights and wiring have caused lots of problems. i've torn the tail section apart about six times.
