hey i have a quick question. how important is the 16k valve maintenance? i kind of missed it by a few thousand miles :/ also, how much does it usually run? im a poor college student and id rather eat then spend too much on maintenance.

I wouldn't worry too much.
The valves in the RC51 are pretty good material.
From 24K to 44K miles, only one exhaust valve was slightly out of spec on mine.
Try asking a GOOD local shop what a valve check will run.
They are usually cheaper than the dealers.

Yeah, on the 600's, I've heard of guys getting it done at 32k and they're usually perfectly within specs.

Almost 45K trouble-free miles.
Has only needed one exhaust shim swapped since 24K.
