I will be ordering my clutch plates and was wonder if I should order the judder springs and clutch plates for the SP2? I have a 00 SP1

Why would you do that?

You need to get the plates and springs meant for your year 51.

They're the same. But I would order for your year because if it comes in and it's the wrong one, you want to be able to cover yourself and return it.

I figured there is a reason honda changed the design.

The judder spring was used to smooth clutch engagement on SP2's.
Sometimes the SP1 clutch would shudder on gradual engagement.
Not an issue when used on the track.

Well we will see. I bought all new.
