I think the bike of the month faded away along with our admin.
It's a shame since we now have enough members that it would be more enjoyable.
I think it was a good idea.
I asked the admin a question a while back and never got a reply.
So I guess this forum is on cruise control currently.

As posted under General Discussion, I have the 2nd production bike ever made...VIN 000002. Pics are in General Discussion. I've rebuilt the bike back to factory original (2 years in the doing) and it's rated at a 1 condition. I guess this makes it eligible for BOTM??

Let me know if you need more info.

well, since ive recently been added to the staff if you guys want to have a bike of the month contest im all for it. what we will need to do is make a thread that is sticky at the top of the page where people get to post up there bikes, then i suppose we could have a poll to see who thinks which bike should win. to be honest ive never set up a botm so im open to suggestions.

What they did before was,
1. Each entrant would PM the admin with a photo of their bike.
2. The admin would create a poll with each entrants photo shown.
3. In order to maintain balance, no entrant was allowed to vote for their bike, and all others were allowed to vote only once.
4. The winner of a BOTM were no longer allowed to enter again, and those that did not win were allowed to enter next month.
5. At year's end, all current BOTM winners were allowed to enter the Bike Of The Year (BOTY) contest to determine that years' winner.

It was working out well, and ensured everybody got a go at winning.
Unfortunately it was abandoned for unknown reasons.

I think it's still a great idea to allow others to showcase their bikes, but also for others to show their appreciation as well.

So are we gonna start the new year off right? JANUARY BOTM?
