It's a longer drive, but I highly recommend MotoGP Werks in Orange, CA. The owner, Chris, was a MotoGP and AMA race mechanic, a research engineer at Yoshimura and FMF, and he worked at Britten Motorcycles. His work is first-rate -- everything from basic service, to tuning, to high-performance modifications and fabrication. (www.motogpwerks.com) You just have to understand his Kiwi accent.
