color and decals are the only difference from 02 through 06

The 04 does have the silver frame and swinger

So is Wikipedia providing misinformation again. It states '2003 was the first year that Honda made improvements to the SP-2, bringing in a stronger and much lighter swing arm.'

must be a typo -- earlier there's a sentence stating.....

The RC51 was designed as the motorcycle to be used by Honda's racing teams in the Superbike World Championship[2]. The 2000-2001 models are designated SP1 while the 2002-2006 models are designated SP2

2002-2006 are the same -- wikipedia can be updated by anyone so someone must have just been a year off

there are differences between 02 and 03 models. The 03 models have black on the tail pieces which were silver on the 02
