Hey I am new here, I have owned my 2002 rc51 for a year now and love it, has anyone on here ever drag raced (1/8 mile 1/4 mile) there rc51? I am probaly going to get flamed for asking, I am just wondering, I ran my bike this past summer at the local 1/8 mile track and my best time was a 6.85@104 i ran alot of 6.90's and 7.0's.

I run my 51 on the 1/4 mile every now and then. My local track has a cruise night a few times a year during the summer and if you get there early, you can take a few free runs. I do it just to be able to air the bike out a bit without having to worry about the popo giving me a ticket.

If you get flamed don't sweat it. While I have not dragged mine I would expect to see some low to mid 11's in the quarter. Nothing wrong with dragging the bike but if you lower and stretch it I will personally hunt you down and carve out your nut sac.....just sayin :)

now I did not stretch it, but it is lowered a little bit. lol
