Hello all! New to the forum and the sport bike scene. Bout to lay hands on a 2001 SP1 with a few mods and a little road rash. Practically stealing the bike. I think a 12,000 mile 01 with very minor road rash should be worth the $2,400 I'm gonna give for it and all it needs replaced is the lower fairing. Has pipes and a PCIII and a brand new LED undertail. Hope to gain some good info from this forum.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid 4,000 for my 01 with 9,000 miles and an ugly custom paint job and I thought I was getting a deal. Maybe not. Have you ridden an RC before?

Never ridden an RC before but I have ridden a few GSXR1100s and a Hayabusa and a GSXR1000 along with some VFRs and a Katana. I'm not new to riding since I started when I was 3 years old on dirt bikes and I'm not really into the whole riding really fast or anything.....just like to ride and for the price I can't pass it up and I'm buying it from a friend so I'm pretty certain I wont be getting a lemon.
