So I play on chopping off the rear fender at just about the line with the stock pillion lock. I'd first like to get a hold of a cheap OEM fender to have as a replacement should something go wrong/decide I want the OEM look for making it look out of the factory. Anyone know where I can find a cheap one?

Also, has anyone actually done this? I've seen a few here in SoCal but I haven't spoken to the owner about plate mounting/illumination. Any tips?

I cut a part off from my fender with a utility knife...I think, this looks much better.

I left just enough from the fender , so I could screw the plate to the fender.
I didn't use a bracket ..The plate goes no where.
