My RC51 came with a plastic piece glued to the intake snorkel I purchase a machined plate that fit perfect from TPO.

Now I have sent off for the Emission PAIR Smog Removal Kit. Basically a set of machined plates to block off the air bypass. Comes with matching machine screws.

Question: Has anyone completed this mod on their bike, and if so, what were you able to eliminate from the engine after you did it? Was there any noticeable performance in either power, or fuel economy, or just nice to get the smog crap off the bike?

No performance gains, just gets rid of smog junk.
Gets rid of the PAIR solenoid and hoses.
You don't have to remove the PAIR check valve or flame arrestor and can use them as sealing surfaces.

The main idea is for weight savings. Also doing the PAIR mod you increase exhaust scavenging. So I think this would be the one time where I would have to disagree with you Sub about no performance gains.
