Ronin 04-03-2011, 06:03 PM I bought a 03 rc51 recently and within fifty miles it grenaded a piston. Im awaiting a new (used) motor I purchased on eBay. Anyone have any tips or know of any easy power gaining mods I should perform before installing new engine? In the off season I am going to send my heads over...I have heard nothing but good things about their work. How bad did the piston grenade? Does the cylinder look like a sleeve may work? Ronin 04-03-2011, 06:58 PM The piston is in a hundred pieces in the oil pan. I'm not sure yet what the cyl looks like. I still haven't removed old motor. I'm in the process now.
