They are one of the best built bikes by Honda.
They were designed to be race bikes first, and street bikes second.
It comes from a long line of Honda racing bikes and has a lot of old school Honda racing tech inside.

For instance, why gear drive cams when you could use chains or belts?
You never, ever have to worry cam timing with gears. Super reliable.
