thats awesome. He won the IOM TT on that bike in 2000, the year he died. That statue is on the IOM at Bungalow Bend at Snaefell. would like to see that one day.

Very cool post. My wife and I were in Ballymoney (Joey's home town) Northern Ireland very briefly this past June. Would have loved to have the SP2 over there for that rather than the 1200GS we had. Herself wouldn't have enjoyed it but I sure would have. Oh, the roads!!!! No wonder he was so fast with roads like that to ride all the time.
