my 2001 rc51 does not have swing arm spool bosses. honda and the dealer are telling me model year 2001 did not come with them but 2002 did.

any 01s out there with the bosses on from factory?

Well here's the Honda RC51 parts pages for the '00-01 SP1 swingarm and the '02-06 SP2 swingarm to compare.

The 01 swingarm is the exact same as the 00.

I know this is a very old thread, but I have a 2001 and it does not have the bosses for spools. Maybe they started using them later, but mine definately does not have them. Anyone know if the swingarms are interchangeable? Maybe they just list the newer one at Honda to save themselves from needing double the inventory?

All the 2000 have them. The swingarms are all interchangeable
