So I Removed my RC51's left & rightside flairs to find wires hanging, hose's pluged with bots, coolent overflow tank with a bear hose bibb on the bottom and No vacuum canister. The funny thing is Ive put 1000.00 miles on the bike in the three weeks i've owned it and it runs fine. Is the vacuum canister necessary? Any feedback would be a great help cuz i really dont want to hurt my pride and joy!:confused:

The RC will run fine without it...

Someone probably did the PAIR mod, that could be why no cannister. I'd be looking at the hanging wires you mentioned. Refer to the Service Manual to try to figure that out.
The PAIR mod and Flapper mod are two freebies you can do that will help your bike run better. This site is awesome for mods, a little outdated, but still relevant.
