OK, so .....will It ride terrible? Yes, compared to what the bike was stock... and for what it was made to do.. it will be terrible. Now, it isssssss a motorcycle and lets face it, it's a toy for most people. So do what "moves" you! I wouldn't do it to mine because I don't drag race and I track riding on it, but I do think they can look really cool sometimes.
I usually don't chime in on this type of question on forums because it can open a can of worms but I'm new and..... what the hell. I hope I don't sound like a dick.
If you like it......Do it.

Is it a swingarm extensions using longer chain adjuster blocks?
If so, you can remove them and install stock adjuster blocks.
I've read of installing SP2 swingarms on SP1's.
I've never done it, so I no have prior experience to help.
Try searching the other RC51 forums for this topic.

I did it on mine and without the required tools you can only get from Honda which are crazy expensive. You'll have to fabricate your own tools to successfully remove your old swingarm. Its a fairly common mod and alot of people have done it. Without the required tools though it will take you all day maybe even a weekend.

Plus don't forget, you will need a new chain and brake line.

Chain yes and if your going to stretch it then brake line also. But if you keep the stock sp2 swinger then a regular brake line will be fine.
oh yeah.....
DONT STRETCH IT !!!!!!

To do this (putting an sp2 swinger on an sp1) you will also need the sp2 rear caliper bracket and a engine sleeve kit (which are custom made)!
