GF is out of town this coming weekend. So I'll have fresh tires Sat and plan on riding all day. I haven't had any experience with the scoops but I do need to hook up a manual switch for the fans. My bike was running HOT end of last seasons trackday, above 240. Fans work but don't know why it was over heating. I have fresh coolant. I do need a fresh tune hoping that'll help.

I wired my switch in so that I have both manual and temp fans. When I am in town I can turn the fans on. If I forget they still come on at 216 or so. Was easy with the shop manual and a wiring diagram. If you need help let me know. Bought my switch at autozone and mounted it on the headlight assy so that it is well hidden. I will get some picks posted soon of it.

No need for pay. If you do not mind coming over to Topeka it will take about 30 mins once we get the parts. I will probably not be able to make the ride on Sat as I am working at the Air National Guard base on Sat. for a short while.

My brothers best friend had one brand new when everyone else had fj1200s etc. It just looked like a factory racer and still does!!!

if you buy a ticket from our local shop or dealer, that helps sponsors the event, they can run from 120 - 150. but if you pay at the door, you could be paying 200. the earlier you buy the better. well worth it and its an all day event.

Yea I had always wanted one and finally bought it in '03. Rode it everyday until I purchased the RC in '06 new in the create. Since I moved to Topeka in late '06 she has been sitting drawing dust. I had planned on restoring her last winter but a busted collar bone kinda slowed it down. I have thought about selling her a couple of times as I am not good with Fiberglass and the fairings need some work. I have all the decals and several other parts to bring it back to orginall. I will see what happens with her this fall LOL. :rolleyes:

dont sell it man. those things are hard to find! it would be awesome restored. Let it collect dust until you have the time or money. i know i always regret selling my toys
