Just picked up my 2004 RC51 last weekend; what a beast; whole different animal than my Ducati S2R Monster.
Has anyone used the "heavier than stock" Motivation bar end weights; do they reduce vibration at the bars?? Fitment OK? Kind of expensive, but I'm old and need all the help I can get on long rides.

I have the stock bar ends on mine and don't get alot of vibration except at really high speeds. Save up some cash and get a damper. In the long run it will be a better investment

i'm very fussy and notice stuff like noises and vibes.

my old gixxer's stock bar ends allowed bad bad bad vibes. it was terrible. they were .75" long. i got a new pair made by a friend. he used a scrap of SS bar of 1.25" by 2" long. cost was zero, benefit was huge. comeplety eliminated the vibes and made the ride much smoother and better.

my rc51 and hawk are fine stock. i have thought about getting another set made for my 51 and hawk just to see how they'd work.
