What is the best set up for track used...RC51 org suggested bigger size ..so anyone using 15/43 or 15/42 for track used...hows the feeling..

how abt the front?...15 or 16??...i goin to down 1 at the front..
So u race in US under twin cat or open race?..

I'm 16/42
It races in 750 Superbike. They let 1000 twins in...

Im using that set up & i played arond wz a CBRR600(08 model)..& it not ez to chase on the straight...well in Sepang Malaysia,u have to enter superbike cat & in Johor Malaysia u entering open race(meaning above 400cc )..In Singapore we dont have any real track...the only way to lose some weight is changed to lighter wheel...& im thinking to change to 15/42 or 15/43

I think the gearing is really going to depend on your riding style, how much engine work you've done and the track.

I wish I could expound on that, but the above comment says it all. Each track is different and has its own "best" setting. There's no "One Size Fits All" for track applications...I wish there was, one less variable to be concerned about...
