I'm a full time and forever College student back again for my 3rd major. Until I figure out what I want to do I sling auto parts and rewire, fiberglass, and carbon fiber cars. Right now working on an 89 Fox (Mustang) 408 Twin Turbo, after that I have a 94 Supra itching to get some work done, a 2000 Mustang 3v conversion running twins I'm installing a Megasquirt on. Small list that stretches into late summer. I just think it's funny because all I do is the easiest part of working on cars, nobody wants to touch it or spend the time to do it correctly. Example, I have probably 80-100 hours into the wiring of this Mustang so far because the guy wanted a harness that wasn't completely tucked but something to look good, take off all the wires he wasn't using, and make it so he can switch between the stock ECU pins and Megasquirt pins without much effort. Wouldn't have taken me near as long because I like to probe the wires and cut them out, but for some reason he wanted them left intact which means taking a 20+ year old harness and carefully cutting everything open, snaking what you can, laying it out, cutting everything to the correct length, mapping it how you want it to be run and covering it.

So far I've finished the main harness, the injection harness, and the headlight harness, he tossed a new intake on while it was in my shop and it was hitting the back of the hood a little (Cross member in the back on a hood with a 4 inch cowl) so I cut that to fit and I'm finishing up fiberglassing it back together (Foam, microbubble, then 2 sheets), then we're redoing the solid motor mounts for a little more strength as they were twisting his K-Member. Rewire some of the gauges inside, running an 8ga directly to his fuel pump and doing an earthing system. Oh, and running all the main power lines off a distribution block instead of putting them all on his starter relay (Go Ford).

Should be a pretty clean little performer.

I was working as a mechanic/electrician in motorcycles from 1996 since 2008.
Since this job has a ridiculous salary in Greece, I took a job as a truck driver/mechanic in a road assistance company. The job is quite dull but pays good. So I kept repairing/modifying motorcycles as a hobby in my free time (which is not much though) http://www.apriliabikers.gr/portal/Smileys/apriliabikers/smil458e4a61c6d7b.gif

I forget which Military biggie said it, but it went "They want to meet their maker...our job is to act as facilitators!";)
I was doing a stint as a commercial pilot when 9-11 went down. Flying small charters in and out of bush camps (freight and crews into gas and oil facilities). For almost a week after the 'no-fly' restriction was lifted, all our clearances came direct from NORAD. Kinda cool and scary at the same time, but considering our geographic location and proximity to the Oilsands projects it made perfect sense. Airline security being what it is now, what I really miss is being able to sit in the jump seat with the big boys up front on the major airlines. Kinda like getting a chance to be with the crew at a MotoGP event
