1. what are the benfits of removing the pair valve which is optional
2. What liquid gasket do i get if i decide to remove the whole valve
3. I have the dan kyle covers but they wont go over the small screw on the pair valve do i remove this screw grind it down etc....
thanks for any help im in a bind right now:(

1. Better exhaust scavenging
2. Something high heat like the copper gasket maker.
3. Couldn't tell ya. I just kept my stockers and used JB Weld to fill em up. Heard to many horror stories of people having leaks using the aftermarket covers.

You could either silicone the cover on OR grind the screw off and use the gasket. Remember to use red or blue loctite on the cover bolts!

ok so just remove everything from the metal plate the screw the flapper thing on the back side and the metal clip so all i should have is the metal plate and the gasket and then I dont need to use the liquid gasket correct.
