Had a right side crash at Mid-Ohio, bent my rear brake lever down, and pushed my right control to the stop. I have disconneced both switches, and done quite a bit of fiddling with both of them, but my brake light won't go off. Anyone got any ideas?

Did you find a brake switch that was stuck on when your were testing?
Or are you saying that with both brake switches disconnected, your brake lights stay on?

yes, with both switches disconnected, it remains on. I also just discovered the bolt that goes into the bottom of the actuator, that moves up and down when you press the pedal, is bent. That doesn't have anything electical to do with it though. It's all mechanical.

Well if both switches are disconnected and your brake lights are on, it must be some wiring short in the damaged areas.
Look for areas where the wires may be pinched.

That's what I was afraid of. It's like finding a needle in a stack of needles. Thanks man.

Actually it wont be that hard to find. Go from the damaged areas and work your way out!
