need a mechanic

New to the forum and new to RC51s, though I've wanted one since Cycle World first covered them in 1999 when I was in high school. Wanted to know if there are any particularly noteworthy RC51 oriented mechanics in the LA/San Diego area?

Regards,

Rob

Rob,

I recommend Chris Redpath of MotoGP Werks in Anaheim. www.motogpwerks.com
Chris is a former Red Bull MotoGP mechanic, and engineer with FMF and Yoshimura. He tunes and maintains a number of RC51's, including mine. He is extremely knowledgeable, his prices are fair and he will not try to upsell you. He's at the shop 7:30-5 M-F, and is also open for pick ups and drop offs on Saturday mornings. 714-633-3855 Feel free to let him know I referred you (we're friends).

Don

I would also suggest you to check on the net about the mechanic near your area.I am sure you'll find some details.

Not going to happen, I am stationed at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms and while there are several very competent mechanics locally there are none who have any significant experience with the RC. I went to Scott's in San Diego, he definitely knows RCs. Biked turned out well.
