new shoei helmet

anybody have one of the new Shoei Air GT helmets? what are thoughts on it. i am thinking i like it but before spending $600 i thought i would get your thoughts. cavman

I would make sure it fits your head shape properly first before even considering this/any helmet. It's us the most important! only way to find that it is to try it on

The graphics look absolutely awesome in person. As long as it fits your head the quality is top notch and the inner shield lever feels solid as do the vent controls and easily controlled with gloves on.

The one drawback, if you plan on doing track days or racing, it is not Snell or ECE certified due to the way the inner shield is designed.

If this is not a factor to you, you won't be disappointed in this helmet.

It was 3.5 to 3.9 lbs depending on the shell.

are all the colors matt? i like the journey tc-2, but it looks matt.
