I really like the new qualifying rule. Makes for some great practice rounds.
And someone please sweep all the freaking sand off the track at Qatar!!! Looks like a dust storm out there!

I know it huh , those guys were dealing with that since Practice 1 . I like that new qualifying rule myself , ended up a little different than what I thought . I expected pretty much of what happened , but with a couple of execptions up in the top tier . Rossi seemed a little pissed off when he came in to his paddock . Did you catch any of that talk he was having with his crew chief Burgess .

No, but I wil in a few minutes. I've watched all three rounds of practice, and most of the fourth round. then I had to stop, so picking up both QP's here in a few.
Rossi is gonna be Rossi. Probably pissed cause Dovi did today what Rossi couldn't get done last year on the same bike!

Are you seeing how the bikes are chucking all over the place? Mostly when they're starting a turn, lots of slip-n-grip thru the corners, suspensions bouncing like a pogo stick. Lorenzo did a stoppie as he was entering pit lane and he looked pissed when he got off the bike. All the dust! I wouldn't be surprised if they're getting a lot of dust and sand inside their helmets too.

And there are a couple surprises, huh? Couple riders that are on FIRE!

Edwards is on a FTR/Kawi bike this year. He seems to be right in the middle for fastest lap time of the CRT group.
He's not the only one with traction issues. Been lots of talk about which tires to run due to the sand. Seems like most of the bikes are going with soft back, and hard front.

Race in three hours...
