Recently did my clutch and found an SP1 clutch

So the frame on my bike says 2002 so I purchased a clutch kit for a 2002 RC51 so I got home all excited about doing my first clutch job and found my bike had an SP1 clutch. The throttle bodies are definitely SP2 and so is the pretty much the rest of the bike, but the clutch is different. Besides taking off the headers or checking the engine serial number, is there any other way to make sure? The SP2 clutch is working awesome, but I'm a bit stumped (confused) here. It wouldn't be the end of the world if the previous owner had done a motor swap, but meh... looking for some peace of mind.

Yo Raylee - I hope you get an answer about where to look for numbers to verify your engine. I'd like to know too.

Your dilema got me thinking about the difference in the SP1 vs SP2 clutches. I'm going to try a SP2 clutch kit in my SP1 next time I need a clutch.
