One step closer...

I just wanted to thank my friend The Stig...he has been very kind to acquire a few bits for me (and Duckhunter) that gets me one step closer to getting the piggy back on the road.

Stig you are truly a fine gentleman...

One has to hold the Ladybird exhaust stays in their hands to appreciate the craftmanship. Btw I saw a used set on ebay (simonkobe) is the seller, reasonably priced as well.

No worries Nobody - glad to have been able to get you a few used parts here. You helped me out too when looking for a rear cowl cover for Carlos.

One good turn deserves another my friend.

Duck it's a sickness...knowing what the Stig does for a living has got me tempted to buy a Subaru!

Seriously though Duckie you should see these stays up close, absolutely beautiful. They just need a good cleaning and they will be back to practically new. They may be nicer than the Sato stays...(may)

Thanks Duck. We'll see. I made a generous offer for on all parts I was interested in, but I haven't heard back. I'm just sitting and waiting to see what happens. The cash is there and delivery is easy for him to me with an address close to him, so we'll see what happens I guess...Would be nice to have them, but I'm happy either way the result may turn out, not least I'd then sell my Style & Performance bottoms, RC51parts.com Radial brackets and Discacciatti calipers to buy new Discacciatti calipers again to fit and that's a waste of good stuff, so... I do like Ohlins though. Ahhh life's decisions sometimes, eh!

Nobody, that's funny.

Well, I'd say get the last (5 door) model, as it's the best one available in N. America and make sure it's an STi, not a narrower bodied WRX. If you see a car you like, send me details and I can tell a lot about it from good engine bay pictures, front bumper and general condition.

Shame you can't have cars of this age directly from Japan in Canada. We have 4 lovely condition STi Subarus 2 of which were bought recently for new stock, but that's just not a possibility so let's dwell on reality.

The reality is, your sickness will only get worse if you get an STi.
It's a highly contageous concoction. You have been warned!

I am sure I will see them holding up the Carbon Sato cans I just finished up for ya !! Can't wait to see pics.
I just installed my new front wheel axle, my 15/42 supersprox 530 pitch sprocket set and my new to me set of Sp2 rims and fresh rubber tonight. My 4 year old son helped
Just need to get these fluid reservoirs and bracket figured Then I can bleed everything in.
