Gauge colors

So...I just noticed in some people pictures that their gauges are an amber color. So I went to the garage and saw this.

stock is amber I believe. It's what mine are.

How would I go about changing the color?

I'm so jealous!! I despise the stoopid amber dash. Since mine is melted anyway, and now that the mad buyer has posted a link to my savior... Looks like I should buy a new dash and have those guys change the color and match the mileage.

Woot!!!

Whatever I lack in HP I make up for in just plain ol' crazy!!

I had thought of trying it myself... A buddy of mine says he has the white LED's already, but the website listed only wants $70 to do it. A lot more than on my own, but really not that bad. And their website says that they can change the mileage on a dash. My dash is not only melted, but the screen itself seems to be sun burned, so I'd sort of like to replace it anyway. If they in fact can change the miles on a replacement unit, now there's no reason not to. And as long as they have it to change the miles, I may as well allow them to do the LED's.

I do. But until I have the money to replace it with something faster than the speed of smell... I'll keep making this one as nice as I can while I have it. I just won't waste my time chasing speed on it. It's all about decoration now.

And if it matters to be clear... I'm only upset with the power levels. It's a bit heavy, but so am I. Can't call the kettle black there. It handles great, sounds great, looks cool... Just hopelessly slow. At the moment I am giving consideration to selling my Vette for an Accord or some other daily driver so I can afford a payment on a new-ish BMW S1000RR. I just have so much money into the Vette that I'll never see back that it's hard to let it go.

But back on topic... I digs me some white gauges!!
