Turn One carbon intake Snorkel Group Buy

Gentleman,

I've been speaking with Brett from Turn One. Obviously they do not make the carbon fiber snorkels any more. But he has agreed to make a run of 5-10 minimum, at a price of 325$ shipped. I just wanted to see if anyone was interested? If so ill post our emails back and forth.

So this is why he has not gotten all the info and pics together for me regarding his molds. He post them for sale on zilla.
I was in talks with him about getting the intake snorkle molds and the sp2 airbox and numerous other things. Guess he changed his mind as the comms went dead on his end.

Really? I had no idea. I just inquired about the possibility of making one and he said he didn't produce them anymore. I asked if he'd be interested in making a limited run or something if I could get some guys committed. He said if I could get 5-10 guys he'd do it. However he said he wouldn't be in the office/shop until the first week of June.

Didn't mean to throw a wrench in your plans. I just knew I wanted one and I'm sure others did too. For what it's worth it took 5-6 days to get something together. Goooossshhh dang now I feel guilty! Let me know what I can do to help. I want one !

Yeah I had also sent him a PM as well, when he said he mentioned selling the molds and plugs once all orders had been fulfilled.
While I had no immediate interest in manufacturing the parts, I at least wanted to preserve the molds and plugs for the future.

Ok, Brett returned an email to me within an hour.
Come mid June I will be owning the molds to the snorkles and sp2 airboxes, rad scoops and race undertails... plus a few other things as well.
If anyone is interested in sharing the cost of the molds in exchange for carbon fiber parts lemme know via pm. I will be having my composites guy do a run of parts.
So everything still on as far as me getting the molds off Brett. As an owner of a few of his products I must say I will be making my first priority quality in products and customer service.
My feedback is golden gents

If you could have your composites guy develop a close-top design airbox with the best features of the Turn-One SP2 and Moriwaki airboxes, then I'll be glad to hand you some money.

Funny you mention this... as it was my first idea on improving the design. I have always wanted a full mori carbon closed top airbox but they are damn pricey !! And squidskins does not make them in carbon.
I'll keep you posted sub.
It is a project in the works just like my sp1.
