New old guy

Hi everyone, new to the rc51 long time rider 40+ years, I am picking up my bone stock 2000 RC51 Friday, w 8,000 miles going to need lots of stuff to make her mine tidy tail,exhaust, maybe pc2/3, rear sets , etc. just saying hi you will probably be seeing quite a bit of me. Any suggestions, ideas, parts for sale, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

Welcome. Lots of older guys on 51's. I'm 35 with on 01 and my dad is 64 with a 00

Sorry "YOU" feel Old, the RC-51 will turn the youth valve open..
42yrs old/ owning two RC-51s(2003 & 2006) and a few S-Hawks, Father is 68 and on the S-hawk.

Hello and welcome...I'm a very "young" 47 and I will damned to ride anything but a serious hardcore sportbike.

I'm just not ready to ride a couch or a touring bike...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, wow couple 60+ year olds on sportbikes that's great. I'm not that old just 58 I still do track days when work permits, at the present time I have an 06 ZX10, 06 999S duc, a 1975 Kawasaki H1 that I am restoring just waiting for the tins to get back from the paint shop, and a1989 cr500 waiting in the wings . I just sold my 07 R1 it was mostly used for my track bike and just got bitten by the RC51 bug. I can't wait to pick it up.

That's right I am 60 !The RC 51 is my project bike.I also have a 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 that I ride track days and my Speed Triple R road bike.
