Wheelie????

Does a stock RC wheelie easy? I don't want it to stand up and I don't do stunts. But I can't make it. It did break traction once. I'm just wondering if there is something wrong as I've never owned a RC before. I don't have any performance mods. Any thoughts??

I guessed as much. But my friends TL will wheelie with throttle only. So I guess his bike just has more balls than my RC

What about his gearing? His bike may wheelie on demand but it's no RC...V-twin and two wheels that's where the similarities end.

He's got stock gearing. But I was just wandering if there was something wrong with mine. I guess my question should have been does a RC wheelie on demand.

That is a touchy subject around these parts...my experience no. But I've done the odd clutch up wheelie on the RC and that's about all I have on this subject there OP.

The good folks around here try not to abuse their babies...oh don't get me wrong they ride them hard they just don't abuse them...

Thanks nobody. Yea I don't want to abuse mine either. It feels strong enough for me stock and I plan to leave it that way. Thanks again.

Since all the old geezer's on this forum dont wheelie you'll never get a straight
answer by asking that direct of a question!

I have found 15/41 gearing to work very well for getting the front end airborne!

1st gear is a no brainer...

2nd gear, well thats where a little technique helps. I like to get the r's in the powerband then roll off the throttle and back on real quick. A little bounce of the front end helps, and dont be afraid to pull on her. She's a heavy girl and requires a little finesse!

Now 3rd gear is a whole nother story... I prefer to remain silent on this subject as not to offend the RC hierarchy

Haha as you know this is my first V-twin and my first liter bike. But not my first bike. I've own it for less than a month and can tell you now. It is gonna stay in the family for a while. I know exactly what you mean about appeasing the suzuki crowd. It makes me think about that saying about the gsxr1300. It was designed by a genius, built by and engineer, and ridden by a tool bag. LoL.
