Satos x2

I'm punchdrunk on Sato's.

Interesting, the round cans weigh 1.3lbs. more than the ovals I just got from Madbuyer.
The ovals weigh 2lbs-10oz and the round weigh 3lbs-15oz.
The end caps are Ti vs. Stainless, but I think something else is making them weigh more.

I just realized how much I'm beginning to like gold.

Nice now you need to add some carbon and a banzai mount and then you will be in hoarder territory...like a few I know around here.

You can look hi and low - you won't find a single carbon bit on my bike.
If you do, I'll rip it off so fast it won't even hurt!

I only have a carbon hugger because a gold one would be too heavy

There are other options - believe it or not.
My Puig hugger came with a carbon fiber print. I would have none of that.
I went black.
You know what they say...

There is a difference between carbon fiber and carbon fiber printed garbage.

The weight difference between the sato's is probably more due to the packing. Of course the end caps will have an effect too. I'd be willing to bet that the round ones have a significantly larger volume of packing just due to the shape.

Also, a can that needs to be repacked will be lighter.

I'm always right.
