Hey guys I just did a nice trip on this Father's Day ,. I've gotta 16/40 190/50 and I rode taday 156.8 miles straight and then the gas light came on , I kept the RPMs between 4000-4400, I'm still running stock ecu k&n filters , is this good or regular for the vtwin .?

I remember those days.
Now I'm like "okay...Google maps...I plan on riding this route, so after 80 miles, I'll detour to that town and that town, and maybe that one too, just to fill up."

When mine was stock, before a pc3 with custom map and the 15/41 sprockets, I would see around 130, with a speedo healer, before the light would come on.

I Live on an island. Bike rarely gets driven over 60mph. 8k miles on it. Only really drive it to and from work. No complaints here but may look at getting a PC and have it tuned when I finally get some ladybirds.

Since your barely above idle, I'm not surprised at your good milage.
I have a 190/55, 15/42 and when I'm not pushing it, I cruise around 4000 - 6500rpm. I get about 120 -130 miles before my light comes on.
Now when I'm really pushing, like on highway 36, 4000 to 8000+, my milage drops down to about 90 -100 miles when the light comes on.

Hey guys. I get 216km/134 miles before light goes on driving normal speeds 4-6 k rpm. Pc3 and hrc pipes. Norway gas prices help me drive a little slower than norm
