Seriously, it is going to be a big one. Mine came in a really big box. Something like 3ft x 3ft x 4ft.

The one that I use is 24 X 24 X 40.
The cheapest way to ship is with Greyhound.

Thanks Hondad, and that is great to know about that shipping option.
I'll phone greyhound for an estimate.

Where do you have to ship it too/from? Greyhound can be pretty unreliable around here. Just saying. We used to use GH for sending stuff to Ft McMurray but they've gotten so dodgy we use Purolator and DHL now. I'd avoid common carriers if you can as well, they're not careful enough. One of them wrecked a brand new chain saw we shipped to CNRL and no coverage for damages. How the %&*$ do you wreck a boxed chain saw in a freight van?

Duct tape can't fix stupid...but it sure helps muffle the sound

DHL isn't any better. I shipped my mountain bike to washington once, packed professionally (by me) in a proper box, and those suckers got a huge gash in the frame by the crankarms. They wouldn't take any responsibility, even though you could see the hole in the box...

I recently bought a set off a guy on Nesba (also here) and he shipped it to me in modified shorty wardrobe box from U-Haul. He cut one of the boxes down and connected them together. All pieces were wrapped in bubble wrap and then stretch wrapped and packed neatly together in the box. He shipped it USPS from North Carolina to Chicago for about $70.

I attached two pics (not sure if they'll show up) so you can see how it was done. The table next to the box is 29.5 inches tall.
