The Sun has warped the dash on my SP2. Any solutions for this?

This is typical on these. The raw material Honda used had a poor UV package in the polymer. Just buy a MR carbon dash plate cover

This was addressed in 2004 and is a valid warranty claim

Yeah, but even the replacement one's do the same thing.
I didn't know about the warranty thing, but I bought a new one about 1-1/2 years ago, took about a year for the same mark to show up.

I don't have the receipt anymore, wish I did so I could see, but undoubtedly I got some NOS - before the upgrade.

Mine did that and so I got the MR carbon cover. Then last year for no particular reason (vibration??) I got minor cracks on the perspex, so I bought a new cover from Honda with the stuck on black aluminium trim. Carefully peeled it off & swaped the MR cover over before refitting. Bike never sits in the sun but hopefully it'll last 10 years again.

Never leave your RC51 parked up in the sun without something to cover the instruments. The blue anodising on the fork preload also fades with UV...

I wish they would replace them under a warranty claims. I have the warped dash and leaking tank. No one can produce Honda's memo/letter that tells the dealers to replace them.

That's what I ran into with my leaky tank.
