That was fast

I ordered custom plastics from China on July 11. They got here on July 24th. That was as fast as I could have possibly hoped for. I only hope they fit. I did not see them yet because I had them shipped to my friends shop. They were closed by the time I got off work. I'll keep ya'll posted with the results. Don't judge me for getting Chinese plastics. If it doesn't work out, I'll be a man and say it didn't.

No judgment, it's well documented here they fail. Use lots of heat tape in location next to the exhaust and engine.

Yes, I got em from the ebay store one of my friends got plastics for his zx10. No fitment issues, but some of the tabs snapped off soon after mounting. He put epoxy on the tabs and no heat issues or mounting issues since. We will see about the fail part. Hope it doesn't.

oh, sorry wingnutt...didn't see the j/k. I was going to say, uh....we ride Honda's. LOL. Well, this is turning out like I thought it would. It isnt mounted yet and there are issues. The nose cracked either during packing or during shipping. It cracked right under the intake. The fairings say SP2 which wouldn't be a problem if I had an SP2. Im not going to spend my $ on any more heat sheilding. Im in this deep enough. If the heat sheilding that is on it doesn't hold up and it melts, I'll put the beat up lower/mid one piece and nose that is currently installed back on and just go with it as a learning experience. The plastic is soooo thin. My buddy has a set from the same place and I really didn't think it was this thin. I'm not mad though. Worst case scenario, I spent a couple hundred on a tail and a fender and windscreen. I can accept that. At least the one piece tail looks great and worst case scenario, I'll paint the beat up plastics all black and throw the soon to be possibly melted stuff in the trash. Post pics later. Come on with the I told you so's..........come on..
