Gilles Chain Adjuster Failure

I have a Gilles chain adjuster with lifters on my RC. I was doing a track day today and had one of the adjuster bolts snap the head off allowing the axle to slide forward on the chain side. It was not a good experience having the bike come out of alignment and chain popping on the sprocket. I didn't know what broke it felt like a tire coming apart and a broken transmission at the same time. I was happy to make it to the pits and find it was just an adjuster. I'm going back to the stock adjusters after this. I've never had a problem with the Gilles adjusters I've heard of them needing retensioned but I never had this problem. I would not recommend them for the racetrack after today. If someone would want them for parts or just to play with send me a PM they'll be available on the real cheap.

Lol...my head is on a swivel when it comes to shiny things, carbon, titanium and billet aluminum.

I can't help it...it's a sickness.
