Measured my mids' diameter ...

... to be 50 mm right where it enters the cans.

Are these OEM mids then?

You sir have Hindles...just went through some old notes and my Hindles had 50mm inlets and the cans look the part. The only thing I can't figure out is why the end caps do not have Hindle stamped on them. Maybe they are older cans?

I should've posted it in this thread, too (and you prob remember from my other thread) that these cans had HINDLE decals on them when I got the bike. Good to finally be fairly sure, though!

I myself have no idea.

Here's a pic (not great) of the caps. Hard for y'all to tell from this I'm sure, but there are no markings on either the caps or anywhere else that I can find. Surprising that a manufacturer would be willing to put their stuff out there and have the only method of ID'ing them be 1 decal on each can (which came right off):

Edit: Still had a pic from Day 1, well Hour 1, before I started removing decals, including the Hindle can decals:

Ya my Hindles had a crap decal that just peeled right off...actually liked them better that way. As for the stamping idk but other than that identical to the Hindles I had.

Yeah, MUCH better ... somehow the muffler just doesn't come across as a great place to put decals, just IMO of course.

Yeah, you won't ever find OEM mids. They're one piece with the muffler, as mentioned above.
