At first glance I thought that picture was a picture of Ace and Gary.....

But really, I see Rossi really pushing it in the first series of races. If he doesn't win or podium consistently, he will be on cruise control like last year.

Happy birthday Doc!

I'd like to see Rossi continue to race till he's 46!!

Even if he doesn't win, he still has more fans at any event than anybody else.

This year is really going to test him. Last year he was basically re-adapting to the the Yam again. Re-adapting is now over and Burgess has been replaced, time to show what he can do.

Honestly. I just want him to win the championship and retire on top.
I grew up watching him race and feel privileged to watch him do so. The publicity he has brought to motogp is unreal, and everyone is starting to copy his style

Exactly, everyone likes him for how good he used to be. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Rossi and would love to see him win again.

But all he seems to be doing to bring something to the sport at the moment is waving at the camera, painting his helmet different colours and using the work 'fuck' every now and then to make people laugh.

Every time he is interviewed about what a good racer he is now the last worth while thing he did was the (amazing by the way) battle with Lorenzo an Catalunya. That was ages ago

Straight up. I think his time at ducati made him lose some of his most competitive years. Bastards build crummy bikes.

I would have loved to see him stick with Yamaha

Agreed, that would have been interesting. Wonder if he'd still be the number 1 Yam rider?
