does anybody know the diameter of the

fuel feeding line
fuel return line

i want to install a quick disconnect ( mainly on fuel return line ) to make the tank removal easier

I measured around 4mm at the inlet to the 12mm fuel feed banjo fittings from the fuel tank and throttle body.

And I measured around 6.42 mm at the fuel return fitting, with the larger diameter nipple portion of the fitting at 7.5 mm.

thank you ! so 5/16 connection should work for return line

I'm guessing you're going to use a drybreak coupling with barbed ends (as I am).
So you need to find a coupling where the hose fits over the barbs, but the I.D. is not much narrower than the hose or fitting.

I'll be trying the Goodridge MCD04V drybreak coupling for my fuel return line.

They also make a 3/16" version if the 1/4" version is too large.

I saw that as well, but I went with metal as I felt heat can make plastic brittle over time.

I had actually seen the plastic couplers first and wondered if a metal equivalent was available when I eventually found them.
