Average age of today's RC51 Rider

Brought this up with a few other Forum members in a recent thread and thought it would be cool to see what the average age of today's RC51 Owner is. Seems to be an older crowd with a few younger guys. I'm 25.

It will be interesting to see the age demographics.
Equally interesting would be the reason why they bought their RC51.

41 here, bought the RC51 for the big smile it puts on my face...

Over the last 12 years I have owned a Honda Sabre 750, TDM 850, Honda Blackbird, ZX14, and a CBR1000RR, but after riding with a buddy at work that rides/races a RC51 I could'nt get the bike out of my head and ended up searching out a beautifull RC51 with low miles. Its torture buying a bike in the late fall and not really being able to ride it for the next 3 -4 months, but it looks great in the trailer, heh..

It may not be as fast (in a straight line) as my last couple bikes but I absolutely like it the best and its not like its "slow". First bike ive owned that has made me lose totally interest in trying out a different bike to see how I like it.

** sidenote:

The ZX14 was a phenominal bike and I miss it some days, it has soooo much brutal power on tap, i stay in touch and hang out with the guy that bought it from me occasionally and we will be running the beautifull Utah canyons together this summer.
The CBR1000RR made me nervous at WOT, I didnt really "love" that bike and was kind of kicking myself (although I would never admit it to my buddies, lol) for selling the ZX14 to try a "track" bike until I got the RC51.

im 33. i basicly bought the Rc because im in love with all the special sbk models that have came out due to the rules. such as zx7rr rc30 rc45 rc51 ducatis sp and R models R7 also of coarse even the old owo1 is still on my radar as a bike i want. If you get a chance look up tonyssuperbikegarage all one word on youtube. this guy is living my dream. I ended up with Rc51 because i found a roached out sp1 near me and said fuck it ill build it myself due to the fact i couldnt afford anything else. Sounds better than the ducatis and any inline four easily and maybe the only one that could compete with it is the v4 of the rc45

2000 RC51
1985 ATC 350X
2009 Silverado SS clone

Basically bought mine for the same reason. I love SBK, and would love to fill my garage with SP models, always searching for SBK models. I dreamt about this and my Mille in high school, after i heard it and rode it on the test ride i was hooked.
