Made me smile....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Q5fmotorcycles

I would not be able to have a wonderful machine like our RC, sitting in my garage never enjoying it. Its cool that its brand new but I dont think anyones going to pay that price for it.

So they're asking the 2004 MSRP for this bike?
How does one forget a bike in a crate?

In my home state (and probably others as well), if you don't sell that bike within a year, you start paying taxes on it.
That's why, if not sold at years end, the dealer would sell it at or close to cost just to get it out of stock.
Which was the main reason one bought a bike in the fall or winter.

So I'm guessing CA is either different in this regard, or the dealer didn't mind paying taxes every year on this unsold bike for whatever reason.

IF you read it says he bought it and immediately put it in his garage. States its part of his collection. Hes prolly suffering from the economy like everyone else and has to let toys go...

I added that bike to my watch list. I wouldn't bet any money, but I wouldn't be surprised if 0 bids is how many he gets.

im all about having a bike collection. especially of SP and racing models, but what is the point of having bikes if you don't ride them? Kind of takes the fun out of it.

I think this guy is crazy as in the pics it shows that the bike is not covered in anyway and has been moved around in this condition, you would think he would have plastic wrapped the factory cardboard box or put some type of cover around the crate to protect the bike.

I was the tech. that took my RC51 out of the crate/ at the dealership.. Put the requiements on it, Put the first 10 miles on the clicker in 2003.. Then handed the keys to the owner that "Borrowed it for 7years.. 2490 miles later- I put in my collection...
THERE designed to be ridden....
That bike is on my watch list- I would give him -what he has paid in taxes, plus 2k for the bike..

That's Lucky88's bike. Maybe you should hit him up. Maybe he still has it.
