can 2 Spal fans fit on SP-1

I have seen plenty of sp-2's with them but not sure if the sp-1 has room. wiring is no issue, I think I could do that if needed. My concern is enough room on right side.
I'm sure many will say only one is needed, but I do track days at or over 100* at Thill and Buttonwillow in Cali and don't want the 230+ the bike will run at at speed on the track in those temps. I have even seen it as high as 242* I want to avoid that this year and will be buying at least one spal fan today.
Anyone have a definite answer if the second spal fan works on right side?

I'm sure you could rig it to work, but the way it is setup now the SPAL fan will not fit because of the front ignition coil and wiring. It sits right behind the rad.

hmmm. so maybe I should do the Coil on plug mod at same time? I have never taken the right side rad off so I don't know what was back there.

yeah, i honestly can't remember. It's been awhile. But i do remember before i swapped to front mounts i was considering running another fan on the right side and there was too much stuff back there blocking access and after looking it over i decided it wasn't worth it, for me at least. I know for sure the coil was there and in the way and there could be something else. I want to say the oil cooler lines may also be in the way as well as a hose.

Pull off the fairing and take a look. you should be able to what's going on back there.

ok, so just ordered the 5.5" spal pusher. Will check on space for right side while installing left side.

You might also have interference from the oil cooler. Depends how deep your fan is.

Well when I get in there to install the left side I will use it to see if there is room for one on the right side.

If 5.5" is an upgrade, what size is the standard sp1 fan?
