It was worth the wait!

Hey,

I just got back from my first ride on my new to me 06 I bought 2 months ago. I put about 75 miles on her and came up with two things, 1. This bike is awesome and 2. I'm not as limber as I used to be.

The bike runs great and sounds awesome, better than my previous 999 and 04 aprilia rsvr. Thank god I scored some heli bars a few weeks ago on e bay. Now if I could just lower the pegs about an inch I'd be in business! Have a good one and ride safe.

It really is worth the wait. This is my second RC and I rode for the first time this year today. (After a few ahem..mods) The Sato pipes sound amazing and the bike runs really well. Now if Indiana would get enough rain to clean the streets better.

Happy riding.

Awesome, it is an amazing bike. Racing Twin package with the reliability of Honda. (Although Aprilia is pretty bulletproof as well)

peg posiltion

Murph, You may want to check into Gilles rearsets. I understand that have a good range of adjustability and look awesome. As I get older (55 already) I may ponder the idea of a set of rearsets to do just what you are looking for. Good luck.

Hey,

Thanks for the replies fellas. Just finished watching the gp race and went to go for a quick rip and to my dismay noticed a small puddle of coolant under the bike. I believe it's coming from the top hose connected to the left radiator. From what I've read it's a common problem. I was gonna fix it but since it's under warranty the dealer will pick up and fix. Ride safe guys.
