Question Rim tape or not

Just looking for opinions... whats yours on rim tape?

On my bikes in the past, I have always polished the wheel lip.
I think it sets it off and looks really good, I just can't bring myself to do it on the RC.

I would say yes. I know there are guys that are adamant about NO wheel tape.
It's your bike. Do what you want.

That looks good Adam, i dont think i could do that either... Unless i had some donor wheels

I know the RC purist's will poopoo the idea of rim tape, and Honestly i have never been a fan. Always thought it looked squiddish, but i have seen some classy examples on the RC and other bikes.

Just checking the temp here on the forum.

i.e. Extrapolator's 04 nicky looks good with the white

For safety purposes I like using the reflective tape but only on the OEM wheels, I can't bring myself to tape up the RK's I have now or any other premium aftermarket wheels...

Just realized I didn't give my opinion: Rim tape is cheap, easy, and if you ever decide you don't like it, just peel it off. And then if you're sorry you peeled it off, just put it back on again!
