wheel compatibility

Hi all,

on my VTR1000F superhawk, im currently running a full SP1 front end (forks, triples, calipers, rotors, etc) with the exception of the SP2 front wheel. im pretty sure everything else is SP1 because thats what the seller told me when i bought everything in one lot. although he didnt even know it was an SP2 wheel so im not sure how much he really knew. i dont know for sure the forks and triples are SP1 though

i just bought an extra set of wheels to keep track tires on so im not constantly paying for tire mounting. i ended up buying an SP1 front wheel because its all i could find for a reasonable price. RC51 parts are worth their weight in gold. is everything compatible with the SP1 and SP2 wheels? rotors, axle, axle spacers, etc? can it all me swapped back and forth from one to the other? eventually ill just have an extra set of rotors for the track wheels. but until my wallet recovers from the RC wheel ill have to swap em.

your help is appreciated! thanks

You can swap the front wheels back and forth no problem.
The only variances you would see is in rotor thickness between the SP1 and SP2.

sweet thanks for the reply. bummed i couldnt find another SP2 wheel. its okay though because the SP1 matches the CBR 900RR rear wheel i just bought. those will be my street set, and ill use the lighter SP2 wheel for the track.

is the SP2 actually 1.5 lbs lighter or was i misinformed?
