Talking MotoGP in Austin, TX! Yeah....baby.

Didn't know if anybody else knows/cares about this but... A formula 1 track is being built here and the track signed a 10 year deal for MotoGP! Finally, some kick @ss bike racing on my side of the US.

It will be great to have 3 motogp events in the US. I'm in California so looking forward to going to Laguna Seca this July.

That I doubt you'll see. Somebodies got to go, and I feel it might be Indy.
Laguna Seca has a lot of bike history behind it while Indy does not.

Plus the emerging Asian markets are putting added pressure on F1 and MotoGP to host in their countries as well.

I don't know, they're saying that Dorna wanted more US races. So we'll just have to see if they keep Indy.

The very first race at Indy was a motorcycle race....it depends on how big a check Indy wants to write. 35 million was what the F1 thieves wanted.

The contract is already signed for 10 years. There was a ceremony downtown for it. The local paper said that it was unclear if Indy was going to lose their race or if a third was to be added, but either way we get a race. Another article went on to say that lower classes of motorcycle racing will be scheduled too.

Yeah the IF is a big one. I remember reading a while ago that fans and teams were disappointed with the way that Indy was done so not too sure how long the circuit will be on the calendar.
